Andrea Nodoro

Managing Director

Andrea serves as Managing Director at Geller Tax. With 28 years of experience, she specializes in tax for high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, focusing on those in the financial services sector, including hedge fund managers and private equity partners. Andrea also has expertise in fiduciary, not-for-profit, and real estate entity taxes.

At Geller, Andrea provides comprehensive tax solutions for high-net-worth individuals and their families. She focuses on structuring entities efficiently, preparing clients for major financial events, and establishing family offices. Andrea also works on forming governance structures and developing succession plans for next-generation leaders in family-controlled organizations.

Prior to joining Geller, Andrea was a Partner at Citrin Cooperman for two years, following the acquisition of Untracht Early LLC, where she served for over nine years. At Citrin Cooperman, she focused on the review of individual, fiduciary, entity, and not-for-profit tax returns, and was responsible for the training program for the financial services individual tax team. She helped implemented SurePrep and TechTalks, and served as the liaison for outsourcing with consultants. Andrea played a significant role in interviewing candidates and was part of the integration team during the acquisition.

Earlier in her career, Andrea worked at Ross Rosenthal & Company for five years, where she reviewed tax returns for various individuals and entities, and compiled and reviewed financial statements. She also spent seven years at MDE Group, a wealth management and investment advisory firm, where she was responsible for all tax work and served as the Chief Compliance Officer. Andrea began her career at Deloitte, spending 5 years in the audit and tax departments, where she progressed from a tax preparer to a reviewer of individual income tax returns and entity returns.

Andrea received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Villanova University, a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Seton Hall University, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
